We wanted to take a quick second and post about what an amazing first few months this has been at ODDmonton!! It's been an incredible trip - one that we can't wait to keep going!! Every day brings new & awesome pieces to us, and it's exciting trying to find that once-in-a-lifetime keepsake.
But a close second in all of this collecting craziness is the people. The people who we've met, either by being customers, supporters, suppliers, or just similar-minded freaks... these are the people who have made ODDmonton the fun and exciting place it is today, and will be tomorrow!!
As a very quick thank-you, we wanted to mention a few key people that have been an influence & great help to ODDmonton - thank you so much for your help & support!!
In the mood for some mind-blowing art? Pat Byers has been creating it for years & years. In recent times he has moved from mainly focusing on digitally-enhanced dark photography to more traditional brush & canvas - a change of medium, with no change in pedigree. We're proud to say we own several pieces, and can't wait to pick up more... a hell of an artist, and a hell of a guy.
Head on over to Dedmonton.com to check out all the latest & greatest horror-related awesomeness the city of Edmonton (and surrounding area) has to offer. A great site for the horror-minded, done with a light-hearted twist... cause really - aren't we all just in it for the fun? Be sure and tell Pumpkin'Ed that Barry sent ya... he might be orange, but inside - he's just as squishy as the rest of us.....
Necrophiliac Joe's Cabinet of Curiosities. Doesn't that title just make you wanna check the link, and dance a jig while you peruse his blog of amazing? He wins the award for Best Title for a Blog, and also Best Use of a Usually Silly Font. All kidding aside, Matt's a killer dude - keep an eye on his blog for his new additions (which we hope he'll add to his photo album here too!), and the stories behind them...
Thanks again to all of the above mentioned, and of course to everyone else who has either patronized, supported, mentioned, blogged about, or just stumbled upon the site. And don't forget to upload your pictures!!!
